Camera Instructions

Above you will see a diagram explaining the features of our remote
controlled web cam. It is set up so you can grab control of the
camera, and you control the pan, tilt, and zoom of the camera.
Each user can take control for a time period of 2 minutes. You
can view the camera, when someone else has control.. but it's
more fun to control it yourself!
To do so you simply click on the Start Control Button. If no
one else has control at that point, you will immediately have
control, which is signified by the Green Bar just above the Start
Control Button. This will give you a count down of time remaining.
If someone else has control, you will see a Red Bar there - with
a Count Down of how long until control is transfered to you.
This may not be accurate however, since users may leave the page
early and you might get control faster.
As soon as you have the control of the camera, you can use the
sliders to move the camera to pan, tilt and zoom. The bottom
slider moves the camera left and right, the inside right vertical
slider moves the camera up and down, and the vertical slider
way to the right zooms the camera in and out. You can also click
on any given spot on the screen, and in a second, the camera
will center its self on the spot you selected. You can then zoom,
pan or tilt from there.
There is one more way to navigate, and that is by clicking on
the Panoramic View button just above the Green Time Bar. This
will pop up a new window with a panoramic shot of the shop. It
will be a bit elongated and distorted... It's hard to make a
360 view fit on a flat picture... but when the panoramic view
is up, you can click and drag your mouse on the photo to choose
a spot in the shop. The camera will then automatically go to
that area.
The little button of the guy with the sun behind him, just above
the Start Control button, brightens or dims your picture.
When you have the control, you will also see a drop down bar
that says Select Camera Presets. You can choose several areas
of the shop by simply choosing them from the drop down.
You can also capture a shot anytime you want by clicking on
the little camera at the lower left hand side of the panel. This
will open up a new window with the Jpeg picture you've captured.
We hope you enjoy our new webcam... Be sure to tell your friends,
and be looking for new features in the near future!
